Peab receives management and maintenance commission from Helsingborg City

Peab has been commissioned to run and maintain the parks, streets, waterworks and beaches in Helsingborg. Peab received the order from Helsingborg City and the total value of the contract over a six-year period is around SEK 600 million.

The contract covers three districts – west, north and east – with varying contractual periods of between two to six years with an option to prolong. Overtaking some 100 employees from the city’s management company Entek is part of the commission.

“This is commission is right in line with our intent to be a leading player in municipal management and maintenance and it will reinforce our presence in the Helsingborg region,” comments Peab’s Regional Manager Göran Wiking.
