Health and safety are our highest priorities at Peab. Everyone working at our workplaces should have a safe working environment, and Peab has a zero-accident vision for serious accidents. This also means that we place high demands on our subcontractors to contribute to our shared safety.
Message from Group Management
Think before you act!
- Plan for a safe and healthy working day.
- If the job cannot be done safely, do not do it.
- If you see someone doing something unsafe, do not just walk by. Show that you care.
- We can never accept anyone being injured or becoming ill as a result of their work.
- At Peab, everyone should feel safe and well.
- It is important that we treat each other with respect and consideration.
- At Peab, we take responsibility for our own safety and health, as well as that of others.
- We care about each other. It is part of our safety culture.
- And most importantly, everyone should return home after a good and safe day at work!
Knowledge, skills and qualifications
Registered qualification training in the ID06 Competence Database
Peab and other companies within the Swedish Construction Federation (Byggföretagen) are working together to create safer workplaces. Together with several of our industry colleagues, we have established common requirements for a number of qualification training courses that must be registered in the ID06 Competence Database and thereby linked to and visible through the ID06 card.
See the current list of requirements here.
For our joint safety and to reduce administration, Peab encourages the registration of as many training courses and certificates as possible in the ID06 Competence Database, including those that are not included in the list of requirements.
Safe Construction Training
The construction industry's common safety training course provides a basic understanding of the most common risks in the construction and civil engineering industry, and how we can work together to prevent them.
The training is an important part of our efforts to create safe and secure workplaces. After completing the training and passing the test, the result is registered as a certificate in the ID06 Competence Database. The certificate is linked to the participant's ID06 card.
For the registration to be completed, the participant must give their consent during the training.
