Peab builds apartments in Sarpsborg

Peab has been commissioned to build 50 apartments in Sarpsborg, southeast of Oslo. The customer is HABO and Jack Valleraune and the contract is worth NOK 103.5 million.

The project entails building five buildings containing 50 apartments for a total of 5,000 m2. The apartments will vary in size from 76 to 125 m2.

“This is a fantastic project that permits us to build new homes in Sarpsborg. The apartment buildings will be built with a concrete construction and a lot of wood in the facade, which will make them fit in well with the environment around Glomma River,” says Trond Bergsland, Region Manager Peab.

The project architect is Habo.

The project is a turnkey contract. Construction will start in August 2020 and occupation is planned for August 2022.

The project will be order registered in the second quarter 2020.
