Peab builds swimming pool facility in Kävlinge

Peab has been commissioned to build a new swimming pool facility in central Kävlinge. The customer is KKB Fastigheter AB and the contract is worth SEK 292 million.

The pool facility will be called Harjagersbadet and include a 25x25 meter pool, two training pools, a children’s playground with a water slide, a relax area and a gym. The entire swimming pool facility will be around 7,100 m2.

“This is an important and great community investment for the residents of Kävlinge Municipality and naturally we are proud to contribute. We hope the new pool facility will be a hub for training and relaxation and place to get together for people of all ages,” says Bratislav Marjanovic, Region Manager Peab.

“Peab is one of the few companies that builds pool facilities and we feel good about working together with an experienced contractor in this major project,” says Jimmie Persson, Property Manager at KKB.

The project is a turnkey contract in partnership. Construction is planned to start in April 2021 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2023.

The project will be order registered in the fourth quarter 2020.
