The new contract starts on November 1, 2021 and comprises service and maintenance, construction and customer services.

“We’re very happy for Öresundskraft’s continued confidence in us to deliver electric grid services. We’ve had the contract since 2015 and look forward to four new years. Naturally we’re proud to participate in Öresundskraft’s shift to a sustainable energy system and enable the strong growth in the region,” says Georgios Vellios, MD ATS Tjänster AB.

“Togerther with ATS Tjänster AB we will continue our work on switching to a sustainable energy system. Rapidly strengthening and modernizing the electric grid in the region is vital to achieving climate goals. This is our mission and we are expecting great things of our suppliers, which is why we have raised ambitions in our procurement processes,” says Dan Lilja, Distribution Business Area Manager at Öresundskraft.

The procurement process consisted of various parts that focused on areas like price, quality, digitalization and environmental impact. ATS Tjänster AB will, for example, only use fossil free driven vehicles.
