Peab builds rental apartments in Enköping

Peab has been commissioned to build 160 rental apartments in Korsängen in Enköping. The customer is Genova Property Group and the contract is worth SEK 202 million.

The apartments will be one to five rooms and a kitchen of between 27 to 94 m2 and have access to elevators and parking. In addition to the 160 apartments there will be four premises on the ground floor. The apartments will be designed according to Peab’s NärBo (Live Close) concept and the facade will be plaster.

“We’re very happy to have been entrusted with this project and look forward to our ongoing collaboration with Genova. Being able to contribute to Enköping’s development, especially when it involves our NärBo concept and a lot of climate consideration, means a great deal to us as community builders,” says Louise Strömbäck, Region Manager Peab.

“Our intention is to try and use land we already own in order to be able to contribute with more sustainable and climate smart homes. Our collaboration with Peab is perfectly aligned with this ambition. It creates the foundation for efficient production of quality housing where a sustainable perspective is of particular importance,” says Henrik Raspe, Project Development Manager at Genova.

The project is a turnkey contract. Construction will begin in March 2022 and occupation is planned for December 2023 and March 2024.

The project will be order registered in the first quarter 2022.
