Peab has been commissioned to build in partnering with the customer, Haparanda Municipality, a new swimming pool and sports hall in Haparanda. The contract is worth SEK 209 million.
This is a development of the school grounds and athletics hall Aspen which will now include a swimming pool facility, sports hall and supplemental small sports areas.

Construction on the new swimming pool and sports hall facility begins now and will be completed in two years, in December 2025.
“It feels fantastic to finally start up this project,” says Nina Waara, municipal councilor of Haparanda.
The project will be order registered in the second quarter 2023.
