Peab renovates hotel in Vantaa

Peab has been commissioned to renovate a hotel in Vantaa on the outskirts of Helsinki. The customer is Kiinteistö OY Haukipurontie (Keva) and the contract is worth EUR 13 million.

The property Peab will renovate is a hotel building with seven floors and 271 rooms in all. The hotel was built in 1991 and extended in 2003. The project comprises renovating the premises and updating technical installations. The hotel’s main lobby will be modernized by opening up the space. The load-bearing construction of the hotel’s basement garage will also be refurbished.

“We really look forward to working on this project. We have extensive expertise in hotel renovation and an excellent model for carrying out this renovation project,” says Ilkka Laakeristo, Region Manager Peab Finland.

The project is a turnkey contract. Construction starts in December 2023 and the project is expected to be completed in February 2025.

The project will be order registered in the fourth quarter 2023.
