Peab is entrusted with an extension of road operation and maintenance

Peab has been entrusted with an extension of two more of its operation contracts for road maintenance with the Swedish Transport Administration through the exercise of two-year options. The contracts have a total value of SEK 240 million.

Peab is commissioned by the Swedish Transport Administration to maintain the Swedish network of roads in a number of operation areas. Two-year options have now been exercised in two more of a total of 19 ongoing construction contracts. These contracts are for the operation and maintenance of the road networks in the operation areas Hedemora and Heby. The option period for both construction contracts is two years, which means that they now run until the autumn of 2028.

"With the two new contracts a total of seven operation contracts have been renewed during the autumn, allowing us to continue to take care of the roads for another two years. We're very happy and proud as community builders for this continued confidence in us so that we have safe and passable roads in Sweden," says Berth Larsson, Region Manager Operation and Maintenance at Peab.

The extended contracts will be order registered in the fourth quarter 2025.
