Peab builds school in Åstorp

Peab has been commissioned to carry out renovations, extensions and new construction at Tingdal School in Åstorp. The customer is Björnekulla Fastigheter AB and the contract is worth SEK 215 million.

Tingdal School is located in the eastern section of Åstorp. The total area of the project is 7,500 m2, of which 6,000 m2 will be new construction and 1,500 m2 will be renovations and extensions. The building will meet the requirements for Miljöbyggnad 4.0 Silver.

"This is an important investment for the future and young people in Åstorp. We look forward to contributing our expertise to the project. We consider building schools vital to the community," says Olle Olsson, Region Manager at Peab.

The project is a traditional contract. The project will start immediately and is expected to be completed in June 2027.

The project will be order registered in the second quarter 2025.
