Peab has been commissioned to build homes for seniors in Malmö. The customer is Södertorpsgården and the contract is worth SEK 275 million.
The new homes will be located east of Limhamn's limestone quarry in the Elinelund area of Malmö. The project comprises two buildings with four respectively five floors. The buildings will contain 136 apartments and common areas.

"We’re pleased to now continue to build on our concept for Malmö's seniors. There will be rental apartments, a restaurant and activities with Södertorpsgården's motto - security, well-being and community in focus,” says Sven Yngvesson, CEO of Södertorpsgården.
The project is a traditional contract. Work will start in May 2026 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2028.
The project will be order registered in the first quarter 2026.
